Ingredients

Servings: 6 servings
  • 6 chicken breasts
  • 10 garlic cloves(chopped)
  • 3 lemons(sliced)
  • 1 cup fat free chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp salt(or more to taste)
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Instructions

  • Place half of the lemon slices and half of the chopped garlic in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  • Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and thyme, then arrange them over the lemons and garlic.
  • Top the chicken with the remaining lemon slices and garlic, then pour the chicken broth over everything.
  • Cover and cook on low for about 4–6 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through and tender. Strain the cooking liquid if desired and spoon it over the chicken when serving.
