I’m not a die‑hard sports fan, but I always get pulled into March Madness. Every year I fill out a bracket despite knowing very little about the teams—sometimes I even pick based on team names. What I do care about is the food that fuels the long hours of watching basketball.

This spicy taco cheese ball is quick to make and uses just a few pantry-friendly ingredients: jalapeño cream cheese, taco seasoning, shredded Mexican cheese, fresh cilantro and crunchy Fisher Nuts pecans. It’s an easy, bold appetizer that works equally well for parties or casual snacking.

I chose Fisher Nuts for this recipe because their nuts are preservative-free and retain a natural, toasty flavor that pairs perfectly with the spicy, tangy cheese. Finely chopped pecans add texture and a lightly sweet, nutty contrast that keeps guests reaching for more.
